The artist will perform a fingertip tracing, a haptic index of the interior surfaces of the collector’s home, conducted by flashlight and recorded on handheld video. The video recording will be seen as a nightlight on a LCD video screen to be installed, flush to the wall, in the collector’s home. At night, the tiny screen will glow in the dark, lighting the way of those who live there and of the hand that finds its way by touch.
